Question for ed001 just for your opinion do you think coutinho will leave if so surely to god 70 million is not enough when you consider a right back went for 50 million

{Ed001's Note - in time, yes of course he will leave. I don't know about this season, but it would have to be for more than Pogba cost to be worth our while selling him. If his sale would pay for all our transfer business this summer, then it would be worth considering. Personally I would not want him to go unless he asks to leave.

Just as an opinion, I am torn, as it does feel like we are planning for a future without him.}

I agree ed001, but at least we are planning! This is an improvement from signing Balotelli, Benteke etc.

Coutinho is the last player I'd want to leave us because he is utterly class, but at the moment there see to be lots of talented players out there that could potentially replace him. Not that I care about money but a world record deal would surely be worth considering.

We planned for Suarez's replacement, we just didn't make the plan work. Let's wait and see who we have at the end of transfer window before we say we've planned well or not.

If we sign Keita and VVD, then the plan to replace Coutinho will have worked at least on paper. Keita will have to shoulder the burden of not only being our talisman but also one of the world's most expensive player (if Klopp sees him as Coutinho's replacement) . VVD should improve our backline and Keita will bring the drive and creativity from midfield.

I think this reemphasises the importance of keita.

Didn't we try to do really well replacing Suarez with Sanchez, only to balls it up and then end up years behindnwhere we were.

If we don't get Keita, cou could still go and we don't want to be in a position where we have 90 mil in our pocket and no targets left, this is how we will resign the Welsh day I.

If he does not want to leave yet then he should not be sold to finance any deals, end of story. Like Ed, I know he will leave us at some point and i'm okay with that but only if he wants to and for more than what Pog-dab got cos if Pog-dab and his other donkey team mate Lukak-crap were worth 90m then Couts is easily worth over 100m especially if he has a great season with us this season. But I agree with Ed01 that it may be that we are planning for life without Couts thiis season. I hope I'm wrong, tho.
