You know all these ambassadors LFC has (with the exception of King Kenny) . What do they actually contribute to LFC?

To my mind, we need a different kind of "ambassador". We need our own agent! We need someone intelligent, well spoken, multilingual and charismatic. Someone to travel the world promoting relations with other clubs.
We have such a poor reputation for the way we conduct business. We need to start building bridges with clubs and that means opening up friendly dialogue when there are no deals on the table. We need an agent or a promoter more than we need these ambassadors in my opinion.

Please don't use this thread to start a Klopp did this and Klopp did that debate again. This is meant to be a way of improving the club's reputation around the football world.

I agree Ron. however we need our whole house in order, no point one person building bridges if others tap players up.

well good PR never goes amiss but its hard to rebuild reputations if the same mistakes continually happen. Stop the bahaviours that caused the problems and the profile of the club will improve.

Don't our ambassadors just represent the club at PR functions around the world? I don't think they have much, if any, responsibility.

Aldo was a great ambassador. Would come over to Ireland every now and again, get pissed and recall tales of his playing days. Good gig if ya can get it.
