Morning Eds and fellow reds. Quick question, I think someone previously said Danny Ward may be 3rd choice but, do you think Klopp will keep an open mind? I like him as a keeper a lot and think he has the confidence to take on the challenge. Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - Klopp won't be starting Ward on anything like a regular basis. To be honest Ward needs to consider his future.}

Eds have already said they don't pick the side. Only Klopp knows who is in his plans.

Intentions could change. Who's to say Migs doesn't get injured and Ward gets his opportunities that way. You need three decent keepers now to compete and Wards time will come whether this year or next.

How would the ed's dealt with the goalkeeping situation coming into this season?

Seems like a Deja Vu of when he came back from Scotland and just had to sit and not get any gametime!

{Ed025's Note - i would stick with migs myself TSR, i think he done really well towards the back end of the season and hopefully he can keep up that standard..

Migs starts the season as 1st choice. But Klopp needs to make a decision over Ward or Karius. Neither will be happy being 3rd choice Gk which involves being sat in the stands for a majority of the season. And both Ward and Karius deserve to play at least half the games next season. So one stays and the other goes out on loan.
You can never keep 3 GKs vying for the 1st choice position happy at once, and I hope Klopp does not learn that the hard way.
