Forget FFP it is dead in the water and was always doomed to be so.

Eds, the 4-5 players Citeh have shed almost all left on a free. Literally recouped zilch.

I am a little confused about this whole situation. As i have understand it Neymar paid his release clausle and not Paris. Does that even affect Paris FFP-wise?

As far as the records go it should state that neymar payed it and not Paris so practicly they haven't broken any rules.

{Ed001's Note - first, the natural you are wrong, they have recouped a significant saving on wages from those 4-5 players.

Secondly, Crammie, where do you think Neymar got the money from to pay the release clause? I know his family are good at avoiding tax, but they are not that good!}

Thanks for your opinions ed1.

On point 3) surely that's the point. Barcelona placed that as an acceptable valuation and someone paid it?

{Ed001's Note - no, they placed a ridiculously high figure on it, as the law in Spain demands they have to put one in a player's contract. The idea was to make it so high that no one would pay it, but the market moved beyond their expectations.}
