What have you made of Solanke's pre season ed 001? Looking very good I thought.

I've been impressed with Solanke. Let's hope Klopp has too and gives him some quality minutes this season. He is after all competing for 1 place against 4 other players.

I'd put solanke ahead of origi them two sitters he missed he would have buried.

I understand why you saw that Ed but I think it's also noticeable how Solanke takes up good positions in the box and is very good in the air (tall, good timing, places his headers well) .

I really like Origi but one thing he's still not great at, despite his height, is heading the ball, and I think with some playing time to develop further Solanke could hopefully end up a bit like Kane (ie. tall, good at hold-up play but also able to score all sorts of goals)
