First time post. I know a lot won't agree with me but the way I see it, if a player does not want to play for the club or any club sell him for the best possible price. Why do I say this? Because we all know contracts are not worth the paper they are written on, only causes unwelcome stress and distraction for coaches and players trying to prepare for games. For me contracts appear to have 2 uses. 1 stops a player walking away without club receiving any money so don't let them run down and 2 put the highest posssible release clause your happy to receive if another club comes calling, so no whinging. This way everyone knows where they stand, maybe add certain % add on's to cater for development of the player i. e. Ratings for previous season, form influence on the team, international caps etc. Lastly, will someone change the closing of the transfer to before season starts. June and July are plenty.

Perfectly logical response there. People move jobs. The club's job is to make sure that causes as little disruption as possible.
