Just google LFC, Stoke and 12 year old, add in private school tuition fees and it'll definitely come up, if I recall correctly there was something about offering to pay to fix the kiddos dads car exhaust. Kids name not been released because he is just a kid.

Can honestly say it's one of the most pathetic and vile things I've seen in football and made me ashamed of the club, but at the same time I do blame the kids dad to an extent, he can't deny that he got a bit greedy and his kids paid the price. Poor lad can't sign for another club until someone pays stoke £50,000, then again you'd think stoke would just let the kid go and recognise it's not actually his fault, what they're doing is just as bad imo, what's 50k to a premier league football club, 5% of the monthly wage budget, if that?

We should pay the £50k required and then let the lad join another team - not us. Why should Stoke pay it if we did wrong? £50k, a third of what we pay our wantaway midfielder in a week never mind your guess of 5% of Stoke's monthly bill.

{Ed002's Note - It is far more complex than that.}

Be aware that if you do read the piece you will have a bad taste towards our club in terms of youth recruitment, but we should know what our club has been up to and what it has stood for.

Just read the article about the 12 yr old boy now 13 am disgusted in how the board, owners manger of this club have gone down this rout am honestly speechless, ashamed and really thought we couldn't get any lower for god sake lfc pay the £49k that you owe this family, to you is a drop in the oceans do the right proper thing pay what you owe to family plus compensation and find him a club I can't believe I've read this about so called wonderful club of ours speechless hope they take us the cleaners.

I'm not saying stoke should pay it, but the kid is no longer at their academy and at the end of the day he's a bloody 12 year old, he shouldn't be punished for our blatant disregard for FA rules and for Christ sake what's 50 grand in football, just let the kid move on and call it a day.

{Ed002's Note - It is not to do with that.}

Ed can you please tell me what is worst outcome for this awful situation that we find ourselves in yet again!

{Ed002's Note - The issue is that Liverpool are taking it to court knowing that his parents are financially screwed and they won't have high end barristers. The best solution ids for the authorities to resolve the matter as an exception. That would suit everyone. The worst case is that the ban gets extended to the first team because of the "smoking gun" and a lie told by Liverpool representatives (and hence why they were so keen to accept the punishment as was). But the real matter to be resolved is that of the kid and the monies his parents have lost.}

I think a great way for us fans to show how our disgust over this would be for a just giving page to raise the money for the family.

Behave aggerdo.

Why not fly a plane over Anfield showing your disgust?

Hopefully the family sort it out, and by the sound of it the courts will agree, which would be great.

The club will learn and the family will be compensated.

Just wind it in a bit mate.

Agree Davey,

Then the kid will have an average - brilliant career and earn more in a week than most of us earn in 5 years.
