Ed001, with Howedes rumours doing the rounds i just wanted to ask whether you have seen a lot of him? If so, do you believe he would a good acquisition and improve our defence as a whole?

{Ed001's Note - I have not seen much of him in a couple of years, but my impression of him was never particularly good. Always seemed a very similar player to Klavan to me, decent enough defender until he had to face pace, then he was torn to pieces. No idea how he has improved with experience since then though. He might have learnt to deal with it better.}

Can't understand why we aren't in for Wesley hoedt plays very similar to vvd and sure we could pick him up for around 15 mil. Saints will probably buy him then sell him next year for 14 trillion. I think we must have Greek scouts at the club.

Wesley Hoedt isn't similar to Van Dijk at all, other than they are both Dutch. He is poor in the air and physically isn't that strong.
