Ed1, are Barcelona deliberately bidding for Coutinho on match days? If so, why? Surely that's just more likely to piss the club off?

{Ed001's Note - how would I know that? I very much doubt they would want to do anything unless it is in their interests to do so.}

Sorry mate, just assumed you'd maybe have inside knowledge on their bidding tactics.

{Ed001's Note - no mate, Barca are run by a group who are elected on a regular basis. Each group has their own ideas and so it really comes down to the current president who is, quite frankly, a bit of a divvy without a clue what he is doing. So it is anyone's guess.}

It's very disruptive. All the focus on Couts and not the match, annoying really.

We're so lucky that we haven't any elected divvies looking after our transfer business!
Ourz are carefully selected from the highest echelons of ths Keystone cops.

Seems to me that Barcelona is in a state of complete disarray. Our problems seem to be miniscule compared to theirs. If there's a 4th bid, then it reeks of nothing but desperation. The Eds will correct me if I am wrong, but 4 bids in a short span of 2 months is unheard of. (But I'm not naive, and know that Barcelona would not be bidding without some hope or enticement) . An ex-president who's in jail, a president who has no clue, the future best player jumping ship and the current best player continuing to have undue say on and off the pitch. A royal mess. Our situation looks completely bright in comparison.
