For me city and united will be top two - I think Liverpool and Chelsea will battle for 3/ 4 - Both could be scuppered by injuries though! Arsenal will be slipping away and Everton could push up, but feel they lack pace and goals. I think if we got a CB we could have challenged, but will let in the goals we always do and struggle against bus Parkers!
If coutinho stays and can creat from cm, it may change things, but still don't think we can truly compete on all fronts with the problems at the back. Maybe taa Gomez and Robertson may stable us up a bit - but think with the energy we expend, we will struggle some weeks to turn up, especially when we need to rest mane or salah - hopefully studge can stay fit, and punish the the so called lesser Teams, and allow us to rotate without suffering.

Can we stop the myth that we leak goals. The much maligned coaching staff have been working hard with our defence over last three to six months as record before was poor hence we have more clean sheets than ANY other premier league side during that period (7 out of 9).

We are second, only two points behind Man U who are apparently the second coming and in champions league group with realistic chance of progression which will help future coefficient and therefore better pot draw.

Bring on the season I say and let our attack terrorise even the biggest buses!

Still not convinced about city. I think they are bit like us defensively and their full backs do not add anything except pace.

Let's see how united do when they play some proper teams and the opposition doesn't just roll over.
Our starting XI is better than theirs but we also have a stronger bench now too.
City the ones to beat for me and I still fancy us to pip them too.
