FSG got their cheque book out and backed Klopp more than I ever imagined they would with massive bids for players.
We snapped up Naby Kieta, got a new lb which should perk Moreno up which thus far looks like it's working.
Signed Salah, who has hit the ground running (v. fast) and got Oxlade in which does improve the squad depth.
A cb would've been nice but Lovren, Matip, Gomez, Klaven will suffice and what's to say we haven't got anyone in the reserves/ academy in an emergency?
January is there if we're seriously struggling with defending and need recruits.
We kept Coutinho and Can, Lallana to come back, Sturridge hasn't broke a nail for a couple weeks. top player if he stays fit.

Back in the Champions league proper, playing lovely football atm. we can't be perfect, no team is.
I'm optimistic this season will be great!
Bore off all the doom and gloomers, it could be worse. We could support Arsenal! 😉.

We haven't signed Keita, we've got an agreement to sign him next summer. Im pleased with the signings we've made but gutted about the signings we haven't made. Again, we've got a low net spend, which is a good thing from a business POV, but when you consider our main weakness (IMO) was at GK and CB we've not addressed them. I think the players we've bought will do well, but to say FSG backed Klopp more than ever imagined is pushing it to the extreme. We've heard lots of talk of Liverpool getting ready to spend big this window but it hasn't happened.

Spot on, Nomisyoung. Tommy, FSG have been backing all the managers under their tenure with loads of cash and Klopp is no different and had RBL and Saints wanted to sell VVD and Keita this window, they would have been here by now BUT don't let facts get in the way of a good moan, tho.
