If coutinho refuses to play CL then we can't play him in the league either in my eyes - I hope he knuckles down and evaluates at the end of this season, but I fear it may be hard.

we all know the lads disspionted he didn't get the move but how many Liverpool fans would have been dissapointed if he did move having just signed a new contract. ( witch are not worth the paper there wrote on) . or had his name printed on there new Liverpool shirts. if he gets his head down and puts in some performances I'll give him my support.

I don't see how the coaching staff could possibly tolerate a situation whereby Coutinho refuses to play in the Champions League, but still expects to be picked domestically. I don't see any outcome other than him not being picked at all if he refuses to play in the CL.

That being said, it's all just a suggestion in media that he's "considering" not playing in the CL. I appreciate we're all less than happy with his behaviour over the summer, but it's hardly concrete that he's going to refuse selection in the CL is it? Let's see what actually happens.

If he refuses to play then that will make the club look extremely stupid in turning down a €120 mill windfall of the player!

The most reputable source I can find (and I use the words most reputable in the lightest possible sense) is the Daily Mirror's web site. Apart from that, it's just the rag that won't be named and a load of click-bait sites.

I don't believe that nonsense for one second esp. coming from that pathetic rag called the Daily Mirror.
