We've been on about world class players but what manager would be able to have the respect of these top players.

{Ed007's Note - Brendan Ro..... Nah, I won't go there, not tonight lol.}

Brodge is doing ok now though eh? I think he was a great manager. He nearly won us the league if not for that slip.

Rogers is a spoofer! 3 up against palace could of taken off the 3 main lads and sowed up the game! Then Chelsea Jose came out and said we just don't want to be beaten so was happy to play a draw Rodgers just needed a point and play for a drab draw but no try and hammer Jose team that admitted they where parking the bus! Enough said! ( the group the character the quality the usual spoofer words! )

Rodgers bought Balotelli for £16 odd million.
Klopp had to kick Balotelli out on a free.

Jay, the Palace game was not what lost us the league. We had something like an 8 goal deficit on City and had we won that game and City won all theirs (which they did) we would have lost the league on goal difference. He and the players were absolutely correct to push for more goals to give us a chance of winning the league but it back fired and we drew the game. Fact is even if we'd 'sewn it up' at 3-0 we still would've finished 2nd in the league! Honestly I do worry for some people.

Superred, where in the world is BR a great manager? Cos he almost won us the PL? When has "almost winning something" become and achievement? By that logic, Klopp has 5 more "achievements than say, Wenger as he has lost 5 finals. Come on, man. BR is not a great manager and never has been. In fact, it was his arrogance and inability to know when to fix the change tactics vs Chelsea, that sunk us, not the SG slip.

I am sick of this pathetic narrative (not you, Superred) peddled people esp. by the media, trying to make it look like BR achieved something by great by "almost" winning the PL. He did not win a thing nor get us into a Cup final at home or in Europe while he was here. All he did concretely, is get us into the CL. That is it and nothing more.

Whereas, we have a manager who ACTUALLY won the leagues and Cups in Germany as well as played more finals domestically and in Europe than BR ever did here and some here and in the media, always wanna ask the pathetic question that "Has Klopp taken LFC forward"? Err, YEAH! Is it perfect? No. Can we do better? Yes BUT this narrative is false and needs to end.

Jay dub red, you have got it the wrong way round. After the loss to Chelsea, the only way to pip City was on goal difference, so even at 3-0, we still had to push for more goals, because city's goal difference was a lot better than ours. So don't blame Rogers for not shutting up shop.

Ings we where nvr going to catch city for goals! All we had to do was beat palace not loose to Chelsea! That alone would of put more pressure on cit! Rodgers is a spoofer he's in Glasgow now clearing up in a absolutely shite league! So pipe down.

Jay, before criticisng people you should check your facts; Ings is completely right. Beating Palace was not the point, improving goal difference WAS, hence still pressing at 3-0 rather than shutting up shop.

People talk about Gerrard because it was the last thing that happened to cost us in the title race. What about Toure at West Brom or the moment I felt we lost it was when Mannone made a real howler in the last minute, Sunderland were holding Man City 2-2 then he let's the ball through him to give City the vital 2 points. YOu could even go back to our game at the Etihad. We lost 2-1 but near the end Sterling missed a sitter - that would have won us the title if everything else had happened the same. But everyone moans about Gerrard because it happened later.

Rodgers is still a spoofer facts or not.

Jay Dub is correct. BR is a fraud, a charlatan and a spoofer. He is still talking about the 13/ 14 season like a badge of honor whereas Klopp does not even talk about the CL and EL finals he lost narrowly cos well, real winners are bad losers. BR bottled the PL, end of and it was his incompetence and ego that got him the sack as he thought he could do whatever he wanted just cos he came 2nd in the PL. Pathetic attitude.

He should never be mentioned in the same breathe as Klopp. In fact, the most scathing indictment you could give BR as a manager is that Klopp came in, used BR's players who he trashed all the time in the media, to get us to two Cup finals, made us a force in Europe again and we are now in the CL with some of these same players BR trashed. Klopp all day, for me and twice on Sundays.
