We played excellent today, just one of those days, play like we are and we will be fine.

It's "one of those days" for most teams. It's every other day for us.

We seem to have 'just one of those days' a lot in recent years mate its becoming common within each season lol.

Which game were you watching? We were not at it at all and gave them a soft goal through our comedy centre halves.

you mean score one out of 35 shots on goal and we'll be fine?

Where's the leaders and the passion? Communication? These are all critical factors that's bringing this team down.

oh wait a minute, I understand now, score one out of 35 shots on goal, give up silly soft goals and we'll be fine. I understand now. with that formula we should win the league and champions league easily. great post.

The team is low on confidence right now as the decision-making up top in the final third was poor. Cou held on to the ball too long at times, Firmino seemed incapable of passing to anyone else other than Cou, Cou's shooting and passing was wayward and the set piece delivery was off. We had 35 shots on goal. That tells me that the attack was disjointed and acted mostly based on sheer will and desperationeven tho, we still could have scored at least 3 goals. Defensively, we weren't tested BUT the goal was littered with at least 3 individual errors and 2 by the usual suspects in Matip and Migs. Must do better.

Bingo, you can add Klavan to that, he had no need to go for a ball that he had absolutely no chance of getting and should have been dealing with the second ball instead.

Mr Dennis, I think the first header was won by Brady going against TAA, not Klavan. The second ball was all Matip's fault as he let Wood just screw him for the assist w/ o breaking a sweat as he was not goal side on the high ball. Klavan had a decent game, IMO.

As I saw it, Matip caused the first mistake by not winning the header, Klavan compounded it by going the same ball Matip failed to header (that he was never going to win in a million years) leaving Arfield in acres of space. Any decent centre half would have read the situation and dealt with the second ball. As long as we line up with a defender who isn't good enough for a championship side, expect more of this.
