Looking back on old Liverpool footage. What a magnificent striker torres was at Liverpool. His best football was at Liverpool. It just clicked for him here and he had that extra yard of pace that Henry had. He was the greatest striker in the world at this club. Went elsewhere and never reached those heights again.
He was ruthless in front of goal. Something we're currently missing.

As a united fan, he was painfully class mate.

As a united fan, you sure spend a lot of time here. But since you do, I would love to know why everytime I watch Man u, the fans sing knick knack paddywhack. It does my head in.

A fully fit Torres is what I am talking about for this current team. A player would like that would mean a title challenge, with his direct play and ruthlessness in front of goal. Our forwards spend too much time making poor decisions or over passing in the box.

IB

A fully fit Torres would be worried seeing us conceding goals in numbers. During his time liverpool had the best defense and best midfield to compliment his excellent form up front. Has any team beaten us by a 3 goal margin under Rafa? While we were the master of winning 1-0 under him!

Anyone who says a top clinical striker wouldn't improve us or that we would be poorer for it are just talking out there arses.
