I see some Ox bashing below and I'm quite confused by it. He wasn't a world beater by any means but he had some good moments. Ox looked exhausted by the end but that's expected. He was at least forward thinking and worked hard. He's going to get better with game time. If you're going to bash someone, bash the Brazilian superstar whose back hurt too bad to join us for preseason. He's been pretty bad to say the least.

The only positive I can think of, is seeing Danny ings in a red shirt again. I Want that lad to succeed so badly, but I fear he won't get a chance. Solanke is not first team ready yet, and I think ings deserves his chance. More substitute appearances would do him a world of good, to build fitness.

Can you tell what was the actual need of buying him other than " I trust Klopp" Or how is he better than Origi / Ryan Kent. I am dying to hear anything valid from you! Can I tell you as a pure winger Ryan Kent should be ahead of him? Or you could have actually brought a good out and out winger for that sum. He was never good enough to play in the middle and by last night I don't think he will ever play on the flanks either! You are talking about a £40 mill player here!

First half he was decent second half he was woeful there’s no getting away from it. Like a lot of the side he tired badly around 55-60 minutes and then they cane into the game that’s what can happen when you play a team that’s barely had 99 minutes between then since pre season.

We could have had Mahrez for 10 mill more. Oh yeah I forgot he's only had 1 good season (pretty amazing season) which is 1 more than the Ox.

Suggest we all get of Ox's back. I'm not sure why we bought him but it's his first match and I've seen others play far worse. Let's give him time and see what Klopps plan is for the lad and judge towards second half of the season. Biggest worry was how Hendo and Gini failed to inspire the team IMO as we needed that cutting edge to continue second half from the middle of the park and it completely when coutinho left.

Not worried about Hendo as I never counted him! Wijnaldum is not a CM or in any form. By the end of this season you ll come in terms with that fact!

Harry, you go too far, mate. Such vitriol against your own players over and over and over. We get it. You don't rate Henderson and you firmly believe we need a DM or DLP. I agree we will probably benefit from a DM but no need to go on and on.

Gini and can offer more than Henderson on a weekly basis but the fact that all three are quite similar makes our midfield one dimensional, addnin grujic who doesn't seem that different and everything is predictable.
