Our summer failures will haunt us all season. We had Salah, VVD and Keita as primary targets, but we managed to get only one.

Both VVD and Keita maybe here next summer but for this season it meant that we did not prepare well. Plus the whole tapping up issue has cast a negative light on Klopp and the club.

GK situation : I think the plan was Migs for EPL, Karius for Champions League and Ward for Domestic cups until somebody can firmly stake their claim to be our number one.

Defense: Gomez and TAA: both promising but young. Will make a lot of errors. Its just our luck that that each of their mistake is leading to a goal.
Klavan is never going to improve, Lovren is going thru some personal issues so his head is not right and Matip is just looking lazy at this point. That being said all three are pretty ordinary at best of times.
Robertson is kind of looking one dimensional at this point. I think it is just early nerves, once he gels with the team and starts mixing things up he should look better.

Midfield: This is just a case of hot and cold. Someday these guys are good someday horrible but never really outstanding. Again I think as the season continues they will get better.

Attack: is really awesome particularly when Mane, Firminho and Salah are up there. Sturrdige is disappointing, he is never really in the game. Early days for Sloanke and returned Ings.

Squad Rotation: has to be done if we don't want our players to be injured because of too many games.

Going to be a roller coaster season, right now we are down but hopefully will bounce back.

Only one thing which worries me: Last two seasons when we were goal down we used to fight back, this season everyone including Klopp looks like giving up and just thinking about next game.

Not true Mr. Dennis, I think Coutinho has been our best defender.
Did you not see his great clearances on Saturday when about 40 yards out from Burnley's goal on numerous occasions?
I can totally see why Barcelona wanted him now :)
Who needs a new Central Defender, certainly not us, get Coutinho back in there asap?! :)

Our centre back options are appalling. The only one who is exempt from criticism is Gomes as he is still very young and has missed a lot of football. Klavan is the worst defender I have ever seen play for us, he is so poor that he makes Traore look like Maldini and Kvarme look like Beckenbauer, that's how bad he is. Lovren is far too inconsistent and liable to make mistakes and Matip has looked disinterested and like he doesn't want to get his kit dirty. We cannot put one decent centre back partnership from any of those players and that is pitiful. As for midfield, how many times have we seen a gaping hole open up in front of the defence where our centre midfielders should be? No discipline and no intelligence as well as lacking any bite. This is a very poor start to the season which ever way you look at it and it is not going to get better any time soon as we are poor away from home and our next home game in the league is going to be the Mancs, I bet Jose is looking forward to that one as he knows he can just pump long balls into the box knowing that we will fail to deal with them, and we all know how well we do against long ball teams that park the bus? I can honestly see us not picking up any points out of our next three league games, which is a disaster.

Oh the negativity lol.
We'll get points in the next 3 I'm pretty sure, don't worry.
I hope Gomez is given a run alongside Matip from Saturday.
Possibly our best pairing with the personnel we have right now.
I personally think Gomez looks like a right promising prospect.
Yes he made mistakes but who doesn't at his age in his position.
Matip was my big hope, he does look disinterested at times or out of sorts at least.
We can easily turn this around with a win on Saturday and I feel we'll do it.
