Everyone destroyed karius and his confidence after a few bad decisions in a 10 game run.

Why would he let them all (pundits as well - carra :@) destroy ward if he drops a ball. After 4 years of mignolet.

Karius' confidence wouldn't have been "destroyed by everyone" if he wasn't making elementary mistakes which cost us games. It's simple really. He's a goal keeper, the most high profile position in a team; playing in the most high profile league for one of the most high profile teams in the world.
What was he expecting? His mistakes would go under the radar?

He was the wrong signing if he can't handle being that high profile.

We don't know it was Karius who made the call. Also 23 is young for a keeper so it wasn't that much of a sign he can't cope. From what I've seen Ward is better than Karius and Mignolet at crosses at an age where still developing, so it really would make sense to get him playing.

These lads get paid massive money to play a sport we all love. I'm sure fans being critical of mistakes doesn't effect them as it's part and parcel of the game. Especially when there's around 40 thousand opposition fans singing far more insulting songs about players every away game.

I honestly don't think I can remember Karius make a decent save 🤔 Not one save.

Why do people think being paid large sums of money removes all of the following:

Getting injured
Being tired
Suffering from illness including things like depression
Having family issues
Being a human with feelings and emotions

Plus it doesn't have to be a case of them being directly upset; if your other half, parents, children constantly see and hear people making derogatory and offensive comments about you, then no amount of money will change how much their upset will upset you.

Just because they get paid money we will never see to do a job we'd all love to have doesn't make them robots without feelings.

Freshst, haven't you heard that making large sums of money playing football NO LONGER makes you human as if you are not allowed to feel the same human emotions and feel physical and mental pain and fatigue?

Ron, What happened to Karius was a complete disgrace from our own fans who took sides with a manc managerial failure and a Red sellout (Ed01's words, not mine) in targeting and bullying a young GK cos he had the gaul to speak for himself after being bullied. Cara telling him to "shut up and do his job" is bang out of order as well. Migs has been killing us for years BUT where was the outrage there? He made TWO mistakes in ten games and could have done better last night BUT even the best GK's concede soft goals sometime so he will learn. Migs made 5 mistakes in two games YET some are still making excuses for him. The hypocrisy is deafening.

Do you think if Ward came in, he would not make mistakes? You are aware that Ward like Karius, is very inexperienced at the top level as well? For me, him conceding a soft goal does not bother me at all cos how else will he learn? Same with Ward. Had he been in goal last night and he conceded the same goal in the same manner, I would not be bothered cos like Karius, how else will he learn and get better? So Karius gave up a soft goal. Big deal as clearly he is the first one to ever do that in history. He will learn and people should get over their phony outrage cos Karius did not cost us the 3 points last night. Our forward line's profligacy did.

Bingo - what happened to Karius is a direct result of him making some pretty high profile mistakes. That's the gig. If you can't take criticism, you're not the man for the job. It really is that simple. Some may make excuses for Migs, but others give him dogs abuse - like I said, it comes with the territory. I agree Ward is inexperienced. Read my post and you will find that out. I would prefer we let Karius and Migs go (mutually beneficial for club and players) and buy in a ready made great goalkeeper. Not a young pup.

I don't get this bit Bingo:
"For me, him conceding a soft goal does not bother me at all cos how else will he learn"

So you want a keeper who has to concede soft goals before he learns? I'm sorry, LFC first team is not the place to learn how to stop conceding soft goals.
I don't blame Karius, I actually have sympathy for the lad because this will hurt his career the longer he stays. I blame Klopp/ whoever recruited him. He clearly was never up to the job. He should certainly not have been thrown into the first team before he sorted out his weaknesses.
