Klopp confirms Simon Mignolet plays. Why? He has obviously never been good enough and is the main reason we concede so many with the panic he creates and lack of authority he has.

{Ed002's Note - his skills are extremely poor at dealing with this whole matter.}

Mignolet MUST have some incriminating photos or info on Klopp.

There can be no other logical explanation!

I didn't know this. Gutted to hear that, I said the other day though it wouldn't surprise me if he did put him on again, the big question is, WHY? I just don't understand why he'd keep playing him? it makes no sense to me. It's one of them situations what can be solved immediately yet it isn't happening.

agreed ed002.Cant believe it actually. rewarding faliure.

{Ed002's Note - it is not rewarding favour it is him being stubborn and not losing face after changing what he said last year about his number one and changing that this year.}

I can't get my head around Klopp starting Mignolet. He has been poor for a long time now not just last week. Karius must be awful altogether.

in my opinion it's just pure arrogance and stubboness let's see how klopp reacts if--I DON'T KNOW HOW TO KEEP GOAL ( ( mignolet) ) makes another clanger and we get beat by his best mates side.

I think he is giving these guys a chance to right their wrongs in front of the Anfield faithful. These guys are pros on huge money but also human beings who need a chance of redemption. Now this doesn’t stop us looking for replacements in Jan, but with Ward injured and Karius set to play in the CL, Migs has a chance to show us the Migs that finished last season so well. I am ever optimist and expect the forwards to finish the countless chances we miss week in week out.

{Ed001's Note - no he has bottled it. He was going to change it after the last game and now he has had time to think about it he has gone back to what has failed time and time again. Sticking by Mignolet and picking him when there are options out there is almost a sackable offence in itself.}

This is extremely strange. He has a no lose opportunity to drop the players that are costing us. It’s what the fans want so if it goes wrong he doesn’t get so much stick. Plus it’s just the right managerial decision. And he chooses to stick. Can’t get my head around it. Stubbornness is my only explanation. Hopefully we get the 3 points today because if migs of lovren drop another clanger it could be disastrous for everyone. Salah for the win. YNWA.

I get the impression that Mignolet can simply not handle the pressure and expectation.

Trend at the Utds and Liverpool's of this world.

{Ed001's Note - or it could just be he was a crap buy as I said at the time, every scout said it too, avoid signing him he can't keep goal and can't kick.}

Any other keeper would definitely have stopped the second goal scored by Son. Mignolet doesn't have the basics of goal keeping.
