Ed1 if you're about would be much appreciated, defender Dayot Upamecano of RB Leipzig, would love your opinion on him. I'm not going to claim I have seen him loads but times I have he looks a good prospect and sure a lot of clubs are watching him. Interesting thing I have noticed is he looks like he could, possibly in the future move into a defensive midfield role as he is very comfortable in possession and does like to break forward in a box to box midfield fashion.

{Ed001's Note - he does look excellent but I don't expect them to let him go anytime soon. Not sure about moving him forward as it is totally different being on the ball in the middle of things to receiving it with everything in front of you.}

Yeah I agree he does look excellent as a defender, shame it does not look like they will let him go anytime soon but then again if I am right Naby Keita was seen in that same light, in terms of not looking like they would let him go. Value your opinion and midfield is indeed a different ball game all together to playing out from defense but either way looks strong, good in the tackle and very comfortable in possession and on the right path to having a good career, wherever he ends up.

I'm sure I've read his buy out clause is massive as well.

Good prospect but Gomez is our future at centre back and he needs an experienced head alongside him IMO.
