Guys, I just read some posts on Everton banter page. It seems they are quite confident that they will be able stop our frontline! What do you think?

They ll sit back and hit us in counter. So they could frustrate us. Coutinho ll be the key to unlock them!

The same Everton fans who believed they had the best squad in the league in August.

Big Sam has faced us 26 times as a manager and lost 17 games out of it.

I said in a previous post, Sunday will be tough. Fat Sam will get his players to sit deep and try and frustrate us.

I can see them kickmg lumps out of the likes of Salah and Mané if they go 2 or 3 nil down.

We have the beating of them. Let's hope salah escapes the game without any injuries.

We are in a too strong of a momentum. Also it's hard to prepare against us. With no disrespect to our rivals, but we win this, our form is too strong.

Sadly I think this could end up being made a dirty game by everton. Which I don't mind as long as it doesn't start being just nasty ala Barkley.

Who's reffing the game? Personally would like that ref we had v spartak. If we got frees for every piece of contact like both sides did in fairness on Tuesday, then I think we win comfortably playing against 7!

Their only hope is parking the bus and getting a nil nil.

Let them sit back. So far the only teams to sit back against us and take a result away is United and Newcastle. Both teams who have been assembled to play that way. Palace, Huddersfield, Maribor, Leicester, and Southampton all got blown away. Only teams to take major points off us are the likes of Burnley, Sevilla, Watford, City and Spurs who turned up to play football and got at our shakey defence.

If Everton get at us from the off it could be a high scoring game; though I'd still back us to win like 4-2 to us. If they sit back, we'll just break them down within half an hour, they'll be forced to change tactics mid game, and we'll win 6-0 by picking them off as they panic. They don't have the personel to sit in and bank up. Their midfield is rash and ill disciplined, their defenders are all atrocious bar none, and their keeper is dodgy under pressure. Not to mention they have no genuine pace on the break aside from Lennon who has less quality than Djimi Traore. They need to set up to attack or they'll be destroyed. Allardyce should be smart enough to see that. When your best players are Gylfi, Lewin, Niasse and Rooney you attack!

If we can get an early goal i think it could be a case of damage limitation for Everton. We just have to hope the Liverpool players don't go into the game thinking it is already won, as some of our fans appear to be doing.

They injured Origi at his peak and cause him to miss out Europa Final and also national team for Euro 2016.

Then last season they injured Mane and we went on slump.

I couldn’t agree more Stuie.
I understand MASSIVLY that we’ve come a long way from the Tottenham game, but we are Liverpool.
I’m trying so hard not to get ahead of myself and LOADS of fans are. On here and Twitter.
Last time, we ate our words, I just don’t want to jinx it.
If we play Everton on Sunday and win the next two or three games with zero to 2/ 3 goals being conceded then Okay, we’ve seemed to of corrected our mistakes, but it’s only took us until Hyypia left. (I’m not saying our defense and team are brilliant but they’ve been so much better than before)
Klopp seems to of got the trust of the players being rotated, which I couldn’t understand, so I eat my words there.
Everybody seems up for it, wether they’re playing for LFC or a future move, they are playing and are playing well.
Long may it continue.
4-1 Liverpool Sunday.
Salah 2
Mane 1
Couts 1
Williams for Everton.
