I found milners selection baffling. He is poor in midfield I honestly don't and never had rated him but I'm not going to pull him apart. To rest players and them bring them on for the win has never made sense to me. Play them get into a position to win then rest them. Solanke looked out of his depth today and was on the pitch far too long today he should of been subbed earlier as he was anonymous today. To me Everton never troubled us but the selection stifled us. It was never a penalty but that's football. Just wish we had played pur strongest line-up got into a comfortable position and then rested players.

If you think Milners poor try watching Lukaku.

Not picking Coutinho and Firmino to start really cost us today.
Pick Firmino and Coutinho, get a 3 goal lead after an hour and then take them off.

Klopp took a big gamble today on Solanke and Milner. His gamble back-fired.

I thought Solanke did well.

Coutinho was carrying a knock, missed training friday didn't he! every big team leaves big players on d bench every week. the eleven players we had on the pitch played Everton off the park. He's resting players this season in a hectic period, the very thing everyone was moaning we couldn't do last season with a smaller squad. if Manè passes to make it 2-0 the games over.

got to agree 100 per cent, start with your best team, we would then have got 2 or 3 goals, then take off a couple of the better players .
my view is that Klopp does not understand what playing against Everton means to our fans,
making 6 changes was always going to take an edge off our play,
way too many safe passes,
Lovren actually missing the cross, then getting too near the attacker, meaning there was then contact, giving the Ref a chance to give the pen,
had Lovren just guided the player away from the goal, they would never have scored,
dont want to go to heavy on Lovren, but he cost us that goal,
to be fair, the cross from Rooney was I would say the best pass of the game,
I hope that Klopp learns something from this game,
sorry to say it, but he messed up again today,
If Mane had have passed when we had 3 or was it 4 against 3, end of first half, we would be enjoying a great win,
just to finish off,
Klopp should have left rotating the team for the game on Wed night, not against Everton .
Rant over .

Not bashing him at all but solanke was anonymous today. Really not sure what game you watched supermane. But on the other hand if mane was less selfish we wouldn't be picking the bones out of it.

Milner, Henderson, Moreno, Matip, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Klavan and Mignolet all receive certain flack from a minority to a large majority of fans varying on each player. Whether unjustified or deserved they still split opinion amongst fans but are all still regular first teamers under Klopp. Whether fans like them or defend them doesn't make a difference as they are all starting games regularly this season, so the only person who matters whether they rate them or not appears to be giving them his vote of confidence. Klopps stubbornness to continue with some of the named above could prove to be our handbrake this season.

Questioning the lineup after a result is nothing but low hanging fruit nonsense as none of us here has the info the manager has based on fitness levels and knocks that players are carrying so to me, it is a lazy way of analysing a game.

The lineup we put out did the job and got a goal and should have been out of sight at 2-0 had Mane not been a total jerk and not square the ball to Ox and Salah for a tap in. Did the klineup affect that or is that Klopp's fault and instructed Mane to be a jerk? All in all, we had that game won and did not make hay while the sun was out, period. On the pen. Lewin dived and got lucky. We should have never been in that position cos at 2-0 up, we would have been home and dry.

Jay, Klopp really does have a lots of strong points, but ha baffles me with his strange team selection and use of his subs,
sadly, this is happening far too often,
so the term Handbrake is a very good one .

Had Mane been unselfish and passed to Salah or The Ox just before had time we would have been 2-0 up. Or had Lovren not fallen for Calvert-Lewins buying a Pen we would have won 1-0.
Not playing Firmino and Coutinho did not matter today, if not for individual errors we would have won.

Jordan Henderson is our Achilles heel, no sense of attack, slows the play down, just look at our performances without him.

Happy, did you have a problem with Klopp rotating when we have been winning games of late? If the answer is no and you were not slating him back then, please don't come out with that hindsight genius business on here as it won't work. The lineup is a non issue cos we were winning and in full control of the game. Did you consider that?

I never had an issue with Klopp rotating then cos we were winning and picking up points so I don't have a prob with it now as that did not cost us the game today. Mane's selfishness and an incompetent ref cost us.

Happy, Klopp has been rotating for weeks now and we have picked up 17 out of 21 points so if you did not know that Klop would rotate today then sorry, you are at fault for not being attentive. That is not Klopp's fault and NO, he does not have to play his best team all the time. Conte played his best team for the past 4 games and got undone at WH. He admitted that his team was tired. This is what Klopp is trying to avoid as the busy period will kill you if you don't rotate and Klopp does not care in what game you do it in as all our games ar big games in the PL now and in the CL.

Also, it has been mentioned here repeatedly that Cou had a knock and did not train on Fri and had Klopp risked him and got further injured, would you have applauded Klopp for taking the chance? Also, do you have the info that Klopp has regarding players' fitness, energy levels, injuries and so on, all things that influence the selection process? I don't and nobody does and since that is the case, you nor I cannot say what we would do in Klopp's place as you don't have the info he has, plain and simple.
