MOTM Robertson for me. Very good in both halfs. His defending was top draw. VVD very good defending also dealt with everything thrown into the box and he covered round we. The only problem I saw was the keeper.

I thought he dealt with Bolasie well and was good in possession. Has improved since being given his shot.

He has looked very promising since his arrival. I know he's had a bit of stick on here but he's still finding his feet at this level of football. For me, he is the best left back we have had in a long time, and ever improving.

He did well but stevie wonder could see all Bolasie wanted to do was get to the line and use his right foot. Must’ve tried it every time surely, hopefully something for Robertson to keep building on but let’s not get carried away.

Ed 25, was it refreshing to see Everton showing some attacking intent or would you rather them have tried to contain like last month?

You have to give Karius the benefit of doubt. Chemistry between the goalkeeper and his defence comes with time and communication. If Lovren were playing instead of Van Dijk he may have passed the ball back to Karius for him to clear, but clearly Van Dijk likes his keeper to sweep. I'm sure after the game they had a chat and next time they will be on the same page.

Robertson was decent, his best game so far. Still looking forward to Moreno's return when he is fit again.

Spot, El Maestro. I have never seen Karius that unsure when the ball is passed back to him when the other CB's play BUT clearly, both he and VVD were lost in translation and you nailed the reason why. Brilliant assessment, my friend.

Ed25, I thought as well, that Everton played much better and showed some g=fight in the game.
