I've no inside knowledge but I would be amazed if there was no replacement lined up for coutinho considering the position we are in ie fa cup league and champs league
I really don't see Mahrez as a replacement he's not the quality we require
Lemar is quality as is Sanchez but I fear he's city bound
Keita may arrive early and is a good call depending on how much extra we need to pay
Keeper won't be changed this window and I still don't see why ward isn't given game time
In short replacement for coutinho this window and keeper and replacement for can in the summer plus a cheeky bid for Danny rose
As always open for criticism.

Everything clicked for Leicester the year they won, don’t forget traore has a champions league medal and I wouldn’t have him back.
I am not for one second saying he isn’t a good player but I don’t think he has the attitude, would love to be proved wrong if he does indeed join though.

Not sure he is clearly for sale. Especially in January. Besides Leicester aren't excatly poverty driven so they have no need to sell. Maybe Mahrez will have a back strain this month to force a move.

1 is a high scoring and assisting player with premier league experience and won the premier league and player of the year - the other is Lemar.

Fully agree with Benny here, Maher’s could be great for us or he might not but there’s certainly no doubting the guy is very very talented. As Benny pointed out he was player of the season when Leicester won the title. Why are so many on here complaining about him, ok he’s been off the boil but so was VVD before he joined us.

It's not like Lemar got them there single handed. I'm not convinced on Lemar at 90plus million even if we had citeh type budget. He just hasn't done enough to show he is worth that fee. I'll trust Klopp knows who he thinks is more his type of player and how they will fit though.

And what has Mahrez done since winning the PL in 2016? IMO, it is dishonest to only refer to the past and conveniently ignore the present or all the things after that that PL win. The fact of the matter is that Mahrez has been bang average and piss poor since 2016 and this is cos he moved heaven and earth to get out of LC to the point of going AWOL for his country on deadline day last summer and has been crap since then. Don't believe me? Watch the game at Anfield and watch Mahrez all game and let me know what other else he did apart from the assist in the 3rd minute. Spoiler alert: He did absolutely nothing.
Don't know a lot about Lemar BUT Ed01 says he is a very good player and Klopp rates him so I'll defer to them. As for Mahrez? Sorry, he is now a crap, lazy, inconsistent player who is not even fit to start ahead of anyone in our front 3.

Calm down lads, the point is that people claiming mahrez is a hack fraud compared to coutinho need to think about what they are saying. Hazard has been inconsistent and accused as lazy in very similar ways to mahrez. In fact id say at times they are quite similar as players. Would you not have hazard if given the chance? If klopp has faith in a players attitude and ability then i do too. Except i don't need to have faith when it comes to mahrez, i can see it with my own eyes he is a good player, plays for a pretty average team too so the room for improvement is very much there.

Mahrez is talented, he suffers from a bit of an attitude problem. The same was said about Sadio but Klopp got him firing. I would not be against this transfer if it happened.
