Evening Eds, any truth to the Gelson Martins rumours circling round?

Salah's going nowhere, i think its Sporting trying to get interest in their player.

There would be nothing wrong with having both salah and martins in the squad on my opinion, but it seems sporting would be looking for a very handsome pay packet for a not so established star. Salah is comfortable all across the front line and we should try and forget these fixed positions of where a player begins the game at kick off. For me Martins is the real deal and would definitely excel with us.

Really hope we can get someone in for the front 3 because the drop in quality when one of salah mane or firmino is missing is tremendous, we cannot expect them to play every single game till the end of the season. Lallana and Solanke are fine players but one is still trying to regain fitness and the other is still inexperienced, we need to be patient with them. Ings is in same boat as Lallana and Sturridge will most probs be a goner. The ox doesn't perform as well in the front 3 and is currently having his hest games in the centre.

We could really do with anotber player with proven quality, it is a squad game.
