Rewatching the match, Lovren had a good game until he inexplicably ducked/ missed a header that allowed Gundogan to make it 4-3.

Nevertheless, he put in a solid shift as captain. One of the Eds (Ed 1 if I'm not mistaken) has mentioned how he thrives under responsibility. Hope he does well and pushes through the personal problems he faces in life.

On a side note, it was hilarious and awkward to see him hold up Firmino's shirt to the crowd when they were celebrating the 2nd goal. I guess he was trying to show some solidarity and support for his frontman but it looked so comical..

He was responsible for the 3rd Man City goal.

Does it really matter when Lovren lead us to a win against the team who had not lost one match this season in the League?

3 points, job done. Stop complaining.

That is exactly what he said.
