Thoughts about the use of social media by footballers? If possible it would be great to here a pro and con about it.

{Ed001's Note - I honestly can't think of any pros to it. But then I do not like social media, it is not social and just brings out the worst in people.}

If you are a player, social media should be nowhere near your way of life, IMO.

Isn't this a form of social media Ed? I am only a Digital Consultant, but it does look and feel like it 😉.

I think social media gives fans an insight to their idols life's.
As silly as it seems. a lot of younger kids use this as motivation.
They can achieve that. I want to.
dont get me wrong I don't think it's a good thing personally. but I can see it's merits.

Given how Footballers tend to be a little bit dense, why do they not have people run their twitter for them? I know some do, but what I mean is why don't the club enforce this kind of thing?
