Do you see Ings having a future at the club? I belive if managed right after those 2 terrible injures that he us the perfect backup for Firmino. His style of play and his desire is the closest to Firmino than any other player of my knowladge. He loves to pressure, his physical atributes before the injury were great. I really hope that Klopp can do what he has done with Gomez who had the same injury (lucky just one) .

{Ed025's Note - have you seen him play mart?, he was not a regular at southampton so how the hell he is supposed to emulate bobby is beyond me mate..

He was really good for Burnley unfortunately injuries have stunted his development I can't see him with us long term so maybe a loan now and see what offers come in the summer.

Ed025 what was your take on Gary Stephens as a FB?

{Ed025's Note - great player for us stevens barry, he was also great for england and could mix it with the best mate, im sure jim beglin wont agree but for me he is one of the best we have had..

Was very good at Burnley In a weak team and showed real promise in his start with us - pace, directness, works hard and some genuine finishing ability. No he’s not a Bobby at all but if he can get to the standard he was at before the injuries I’d be happy to keep him along with Bobs and Solanke over and above the likes of Studge and Origi.

Oh yeah Ed forgot it was him that broke JB's leg.

{Ed025's Note - a bit nasty barry but not meant, i liked beglin as well and it ended his career which was a shame mate..

I never told he is or he can be on oar with Firmino. What I meant that his style of play is similar and he if managed right could become a great back up. And when Firmino needs a rest we can have another one who is used on high pressure and pace tactics.

He has the hustle of Firmino but not the flair or creativity. He’s not as good at dropping deep to become an effective playmaker, but on the other hand perhaps a better poacher (although debateable as Firmino gets used to no.9).

I think he’s missed his window but can see him being an effective 3rd or 4th choice.
