I'm very much for giving youth a chance as opposed to signing someone on ridiculous wages, also feel we have enough quality to finish in the top 2/ 3 without an addition this window. However I thought Sunderland was a good opportunity for Woodburn and if he's not going then he has to get some game time with us IMO. Already a shame to see Ward not given the chance to develop elsewhere hopefully this is the right choice for Ben and the squad.

IMO woodburn isn't going to get a chance this year, he has stayed on just in case the squad is down t the bare bones.

As with ward they should have been allowed to leave on loan, what klopp has done with ward is ridiculous (unless something has happened behind closed doors) he should have had a decent crack at No 1 spot if staying on.

Have to agree on Ward lavers does seem a strange decision! Understand if he's staying as a back up but maybe we could have had an option to recall him from Sunderland if our injuries got bad!

I actually think Wilson is more first team ready but that ship has sailed as klopp doesn't seem to think he's good enough.

After throwing his toys out I think Ming's might well find he's nos 3 come the weekend.

Whilst his chances may be limited, I hope Woodburn proves to be a competent squad member if called upon. The kid is still so young. Any chances he gets this season will be so valuable for him. Depending on how the squad shapes up after the summer window, maybe then it will be time for him to go on loan for the season.
