IMO we have been nothing short of reckless this transfer window. We have sold a top quality player for £142m and not replaced him. Absolutely crazy. We've also let Sturridge go out on loan. I know everyone is going to stay 'yeah, but he never played', but neither have lallana, Ings or Solanke, who we are now going to be relying on being as this is a squad game. Also, Sturridge has scored more goals than all those 3 combined. I've read that it is Klopp that has decided not to bring anyone in and not FSG, but if we don't finish top 4 after this he surely has to pay the price with his job as this is a massive gamble to take. As a Liverpool fan I truly hope i'm wrong and we finish top 4 but I think we have really made a mistake, our midfield is poor. Rant over.

Stupid rant questioning Klopps position, my god one would've thought you was on the live chat page. Your speaking nonsense, you do realise we spent big money on a CB everybody was raving about right? we got him, and suddenly that wasn't good enough lol people tend to think because we sold coutinho for all of that money we have it all ready to spend on so and so player, we don't, chill out and judge in the summer.

You should take a second to also consider what the player wanted—game time. He wasn’t getting that here, and has been a good servant to the club. It was only right that he got his move. He wants to play in Russia this summer and who could blame him.

Aside from the players wishes, he has hardly featured and the manager is placing faith in Ings (who will surprise us im sure of it) and Solanke (a young lad promised to develop here) .

People for Van Dijk was bought this window as well. So while we may have weakened in one area, we at least strengthened (at least in theory) in other areas.

Currntly 4th with a points gap to 5th and on level points with 3rd. Yep looks like Klopp is an idiot and the squad are weak.

Why do people keep saying 'panic buy'? We knew that PC wanted out for a long time. Lining up a replacement is not panicing its sensible. It was reported on here last night that we made a late move for demirbay, so that would suggest Klopp isn't totally happy with his squad. We've got the latter stages of ECL and the 2nd half of the season to contend with, I think there were a number of players we could have got that would have improved our squad.

Realistically all we had to play for domestically when we sold PC were FA cup and top 4. Keeping PC would not have helped us catch Man City, they’re gone.
Selling PC is a calculated gamble, clearly the club believes by spending a world record fee on a defender balances out the loss of PC enough to get us top 4. I agree with that.

it's one thing to know for a long time and prepare to bring someone in, and totally another to actually secure that target. could bring in a 3rd or 4th option now but then we're stuck with that player in the summer when our 1st option becomes available. nah, I'm algoods with us holding fire.
we got enough weapons to get us over the line, and actually would be disappointed if we didn't with this squad.

Tommy, don't listen to the insults from salah, your post is totally fine, it's your opinion so can't be wrong. I would say klopp is publicly saying its his choice because he still has a lot of credibility with 80% of the fan base were the owners don't and he's a pawn in there game. So I wouldn't blame him when the you know what hits the fan. Continue to post what you feel to be right, there's a clique of posters on here who monopolise the site and who's posts fly up within seconds of being written and will try and shout you down, stick to your guns kid.
