Really worried about our midfield today. Wiji, Can and OX. This means very little creativity and no real pace from Wiji and Can.

This will be a tough game and I think e will be lucky to come away with even a point.

Hope I'm wrong though.

Bd i would like to see the ox progress more and become a starting player can is off and hendo will hopefully be in better shape next year so wiji will be a bench warmer.

Made up I was wrong - but they had their chances after we scored getting in behind with several really good crosses. The midfield I was worried about got passed through time and time again.

Nevertheless, a good 3 points.

This isn't a hindsight comment. but worried about a lack of pace and creativity? Bar lallana those 3 are probably our best forward thinking midfielders. If anything it could have been defensively they struggled but didn't today. All 3 can be very good on the ball and capable of carrying it forward.

The ox had a decent game today. Of course he can do a job in our midfield. I like having him In the squad, he offers different options and he has a bit of football intelligence about him. I like his pace and he starts a lot of moves, when you go back to the start of a lfc counter attack it is quite often aoc who starts the move.
