Looking back when we had the best midfield in Europe. Gerrard in his prime, mach, alonso, carragher, reina in that spine and torres at his best. Also quality like arbeloa and kuyt and we won nothing. Depressing looking back at that.

Cisse was injured from mire than half a season and garcia plated as a second striker
