If Emre Can wishes to see if he can get a contract at real madrid then honestly good luck to him.

I've seen further down the pitch that people are ridiculing him or derriding him for this and mocking his ability to play at that level.

let Can worry about that and try to show a bit more class and respect towards a current player who is leaving a very respectful and legit way.

it comes across as bitter and childish.

Who are you his Dad? I am sure the multi millionaire will not end up on the streets. People are giving an opinion on his football abilities. I personally (like some others) don't think he is quite good enough for the top level. I don't think he is getting any better.

What do you class as top level mark? are we not top level? in the quarter finals of the CL, 3rd in the top league in the world, the most competitive league. He's part of our squad mate, plus we do actually want to keep him. I think he'd be fine at clubs like RM and would probably improve to be a top top player wherever he may end up.

I agree with you 87, it does come across as bitter.

nothing on the previous thread was bitter or childish. You brought that up for no reason. As you say he is a big boy he will be ok whatever level he ends up playing in.

Salah this is nothing to do with Liverpool. This is a debate about whether Can is good enough long term to win titles etc. I don't think he has improved in the last 2 years at all. Hence why Klopp wants Keita.

It is to do with Liverpool mark when you say he's not good enough for top level, when Liverpool ARE top level and it's pretty evident we want to keep him. Can is good enough to go ahead and win titles after all he is only 24, you underestimate him massively. I personally think he has improved, not by a great deal granted but there's certainly something in him and to say he isn't good enough at top level is just daft in my opinion.

I have no doubt there's plenty of teams interested in his signature and I have no doubt he'll end up at another top team and will get game quite easily.

Suddenly it's looking like he's leaving and suddenly he's not good enough and will vanish when he leaves us, no chance.

How about just wishing him the best instead of giving him hassle for leaving n doubting his ability? that is what I call been bitter.

We are no where near winning the premier league and he is one of the players that we need to upgrade. As I keep saying Keita is coming as an improvement on Can.

Do you not think Keita is a significant upgrade? Do you think our midfield is good enough to win the premier league? So we need to improve not think every player we have is great.

Just as VVD was a significant upgrade and hopefully our other signings will be as well. That is what we are doing slowing bringing in better players. It is just common sense.

To me, Can is replaceable, he would be a good squad option but he wants to be a starter, I don’t think he’s effective consistently enough for us for that unfortunately especially with Keita coming in.
I see a lot of people saying if he’s not good enough for us then he will never be for madrid and that’s nonsense, just because he doesn’t quite fit for us doesn’t mean he won’t be perfect for Madrid and go on to be a starter there, it’s a different team and a different set up and he might flourish there, players perform better or worse depending on what team they play for, an amazing attacking full back might completely struggle if bought by an overly defensive side for example.
Let’s thank the lad for the work and professionalism he’s showed whilst here, he’s honoured his contract so what more can you ask? Good luck to him wherever he goes.

IM with Ron’s earlier comment on this. Emre has been a good servant to the club and if he wishes to go somewhere else then I wish him the best. I have NO PROBLEM with a player running down their contract. He’s held up his end of the deal, and That’s what contracts are supposed To be for. If he signs for us again, great. If not, YNWA.

Again, he already plays at the top level. Liverpool have won more games than real Madrid on the champions league this year. We both sit near the top of our leagues, we probably play the better teams in our league from 1 to 20 than real Madrid do on their league.

Why is he playing at Liverpool, If he is crap? Why did we allow to run down his contracf when he was ready to quit last summer? Techincally He is first class. He doesn't fitninit klopp’s system! That’s all!
Poor are Lallana and Wijnaldum, neither getting games nor getting any suitors outside!

If lallana becomes available then I guarantee you he will be bought. There would be major interest in him. I hope that doesn't happen, I really like him and think he has another 2/ 3 good seasons in him. He still isn't 100% fit and match sharp. I hate seeing people calling him rubbish or poor just coz he's been struggling for fitness and has been injured. The last time he was 100% match sharp he was one of our best players, probably top 3 and definitely top 5. Last season I'd say mane, coutinio and then lallana also Bobby and Hendo in that top 5 last season.
