Been saying it for a while now and seem to be getting proven right at the moment but again I will say and no doubt a nay sayer will disagree, but I believe Harry Wilson could be a very good backup choice to Salah and Mane next season and push on from there possibly.

He needs to get a chance, he has lots of natural talent and if he gets that chance I really hope he takes it.

Been watching him for 5 years now or so, very gifted kid.

He’s been brilliant at Hull, was instrumental in their win at the weekend. Clearly can handle the physical stuff.

He does need his chance but I believe this loan move is the best thing for him right now, I also wouldn't moan if he was given another season on loan with a premier league club next season, it'll give him a little more experience at top level, then he can return to us and hopefully get in the team, I just hope we don't let him go without giving him a chance because he looks quality.

Irish - I remember some of your other posts and most didn't agree including me. He is definitely on the rise.

Do you think he is or will be a level up from Kent, Ojo, Woodburn etc I just can't see them all being good enough. I will happily settle for one and if it is Wilson it would be great.

I think Ojo, Wilson and Woodburn have good chances of making it at Liverpool, Ejaria, Grujic and Kent on the other hand i am not so sure.

Only time will tell how good he will be I suppose.

The Under 23 leagues and cups aren't crammed with world class players of course but he's destroyed that league for a couple of seasons now when players like Ings, Kent, Ojo and Woodburn etc. (all good young players still) have not hit as high a level as him, so he must have something about him and remember he's not even a Striker - he's in the mould of a Salah with less pace, wide player who has the gift of scoring goals.

Not to get ahead of ourselves though, but if he continues as he is going right now, he may well fulfill his rather huge potential.

Ojo, Woodburn and Wilson all have something about them IMO but if I had to pick it would be Woodburn as most likely to make it (probably at attacking mid) and then at the margins probably Wilson because he’s proving he can impact games at the top level even without superior pace. Ojo seems to have had his development hampered with injuries but I still hope he comes good as a he could be really special. I think he could be a Mane style player if he can get lots of game time.

I also think Grujic has real potential but needs to mature in his tackling and get a little quicker on the ball. I think he could develop into a fantastic no.6 but needs perhaps even another season at Cardiff, would be ideal if they get promoted and he stays there.

Ejaria I’m not so sure about, clearly very talented but has a long way to go yet. Kent I’ve never rated much. Has pace and can beat a player, but his passing and finishing are suspect.

{Ed0333's Note - I agree with the Grujic belief mate I think hell have a stellar career. I believe in two years he’ll be a mainstay in our midfield.

Grujic has been improving over recent weeks, looks like Colin W is helping him adjust to the league and turning him into an effective number 6. There’s a really talented player in there with sting physical characteristics, he just needed the chance. Fair play to Cardiff for sticking with him as he’s really shining at the moment.
