Afternoon redmen,

Im here to provide a nice distraction to you all before tonight's game.

The loan update

Harry Wilson's fine start to life on loan continued with a goal and an assist at the weekend.
Wilson opened the scoring just before half and set up the 3rd in Hulls 4-0 win over QPR.

Awoniyi scored his 10th goal of the season as REM came from behind to win 2-1 against Kortrijik.
Awoniyi also has 6 assists this season. Liverpool will be hoping his fine form might help him get a work permit for next season so he can finally join up with the club.

Markovic made his first start for Anderlecht and produced a positive performance which included an assist or the opening goal.
Anderlecht went on to win 2-1, hopefully this is the start of change for Markovic.

Origi started on the bench for Wolfsburg but came on with 15 minutes to play.
Wollfsburg were 1-0 up but Origi played a key part in making it 2-0, hitting his marker with a 'Hotdog' (Google it) before laying out an assist.

Flannaghan was an unused sub this weekend.

Ojo made his second start of the calendar year as Fulham beat Sheffield Wednesday 1-0.

After starting almost every game for Sunderland since his loan move Ejaria has found himself on the bench in recent weeks.
Ejaria came off the bench for a late run out as Sunderland drew 1-1 with Leeds.

Matty Virtue played the full 90 as Notts beat Coventry 2-1.

Andy Firth has kept his place as Chester's number 1 which is great news. However his wait for a win continues with them losing 2-0 this weekend.

Randall returned to the Hearts line up this weekend as they beat Aberdeen 2-0.

Chirivella made his 29th start of the season for Willem II in the dutch top flight as they lost 2-1 to Excelisor.
The ever present midfielder might find his way into Klopps plans next season.

Arroyo has now made it 9 games unbeaten and 7 clean sheets as Mallorca B beat Constancia 2-0.

After taking the lead RBL had a game to forget eventually losing 4-1 to Leverkusen. Keita was subbed with 15 minutes to go.

Allan's loan came to an end which is strange as Apollon just won their division and play in the resulting championship semi final tomorrow.

Grujic, Kent and Whelan didn't feature and Sturridge is still injured

Theres your lot red men.

{Ed025's Note - great stuff as usual carra...cheers..

Thanks for this!

Allan is back to Liverpool as he needs surgery which may keep him out for a few months.

Awoniyi probably will not get a permit so there has been discussions of him going to a team in germany/ france or somewhere that is in the europa league!

I hope Allan can get a work permit in the near future. Guess it's not likely but fingers crossed.

Heard that the club are looking to get Awoniyi another loan next season, to a club playing in the Europa League. Hopefully to boost his profile further and increase the possibility of international recognition at senior level.
