Ed001 hope you well mate and everyone else this morning
Few of us watched the match together last night and we hammered gini last night for his first half performance but second half he was the star performer in some people's eyes
just wanted to get your opinion on him from last night.

{Ed001's Note - I didn't see a star second half. Dreadful first half and a couple of good runs in the second but from a star performance. I think you lot just lowered your expectations, as I expect a lot more of a midfielder personally!}

It's the Mingolet effect. A player is so anonymous for so long that when they finally hit what could be called average, by comparison it looks incredible.

I understand it could be a chnage of role that has got to him but God he does not look like the player he was at Newcastle by acountry mile even when his deployed in a more advance position. For a player with his ability he seems so scared to take the chance of beating a man or playing the killer pass. Even his runs into the box have dried up. My question to the Eds is that has Gini lost his confidence and limiting his groove and 2ndly has the player expressed or shown any signs of wanting out? kind regards.

{Ed001's Note - those forward runs dried up at Newcastle as well. It is just the man himself, he goes back into his shell. Too laid back and, once he feels he has proved himself, he does not do enough. And no he is not looking to leave.}

Thanks on quick response ED, him wanting to stay speaks volume about the oak, surely the writing is on the all with Keita coming in and ox doing more and us being linked with so many CMs gate time looks short for him unless his ups his game.

{Ed001's Note - having competition would probably do him good, as he would have to prove himself every game to get in the side.}
