Good day Redmen.
I'm sorry to see Wenger go in such circumstances and I hope in time that Gunners fans will reflect on the poor way that he was virtually forced to quit.
Perhaps he should have left himself two or three years ago after winning the Cup Final?

In other news, a word in favour of the Spirit of Shankly group whose representation has helped UEFA to form a working party on ticket pricing (this after Roma are charging €83 per ticket for Liverpool fans) .
You can be sure that Airlines and Hoteliers would add to fans' financial woes if ever a European Super League is established - a charter to further rip off people and gentrify football if ever there was one.

Praise be to Mohamed Salah today!

Cheers ed, wow Rogers at Arsenal- that would be hilarious. Until we’d have to endure the interviews. Oh god, the interviews.

{Ed001's Note - much more enjoyable when it is someone else he is talking about.}

AOE, you are so right. Some of the most cringeworthy drivel you will ever hear. Ed, youare so right cos till this day, the guy cannot stop talking about himself. The guy is simply incapable of learning from his mistakes.

In regards to Wenger, this is what happens when you overstay your welcome. Without a doubt, the man deserves praise and respect for keeping Arsenal at a such high level for such a long time. But he should have been smart enough to see the first signs a couple of years ago and left from a high level, rather than being derided by the fans and pushed out the door. SAF saw that it was time to move on and let others have their chance, and left at exactly the right time.

Spot on, rai969. Wenger should have been binned a decade or at least 4 years ago and due to his own ego and delusions of grandeur, he overstayed his welcome and is now prolly being driven out. As you said, SAF saw it coming and bolted. So did Heynkes when he won the treble at Bayern in 2013. The saying that. "A performer leaves the stage when the ovation is loudest" has never rung more true than now.
