If youve been on this site long enought then you would know this happens every time ed02 gives us the truth. Happened on the united page aswell were he has also stopped giving info because certain numpties can't handle the truth. It annoys ne because we are so lucky to have an ed who provides us with info you won't get elsewere, but certain posters feel the need to bash him.

If he feels the need to listen to the few who bash him then the mass who don't then it is up to him
He can just pass on whatever he knows to the others Eds if he chooses to
IMO he deserves respect all the Eds do.

I saw the post, and felt it was a strange answer and quite personal about Gerrard. And for such a basic question. And that it was always going to wind people up. I would have known/ expected to get a bit of a hard time if id have wrote it to be honest from any clubs fans about a club legend. The eds are brilliant everyone of them. And do a marvellous job and should be respected. But if anyone including Eds. write a controversial post on any social media site. you got to expect some sort of backlash. Though if some have taken it to far then i agree that's out of order and Ed002 doesn't deserve that.

"Odd" is a good way to describe it. Such a nominal question that got an over the top response. didn't read the firstorm afterwards, but from what I remember reading can hardly see that the fallout would have been surprising. Unacceptable but unsurprising.
