Controversial idea for you all. Now Gerrard has moved from being a pundit to a manager, why not get carragher as klopps new no. 2 (assuming he needs one)?

Our biggest problem is still defence so he can be the brains for that side of the team at same time!

Thoughts?

{Ed025's Note - why would you want a filthy animal who spits at young girls anywhere near your club?..

I have to agree with Ed25 here. I had huge respect for Carra as a player but as a man he's a spanner.

{Ed025's Note - good player and a very good pundit salah, unfortunately that all went out the window for me when he committed that vile act mate..

Agreed Ed, I'm of the same opinion mate. He'll have that hanging over his head constantly now, it's disgusting what he did and what gets me is, some people (not saying you 1jj) but back when it happened, actually defended him lol I'm sorry but you can't defend such actions. Well, I can't anyway.

{Ed025's Note - me neither mate and if it was an ex everton player i would be saying exactly the same..

Well, he was an ex Everton supporter.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think that really counts RM..

Some people don't care what a person really is like as long as he played for your club, sorry mate carra and even gerrard outside of the club are not nice people that is a fact.

{Ed025's Note - so are a lot of players for other clubs john, terry and giggs to name but 2 mate..

Bullying team mates and spitting at people is not exactly a desirable personality trait on your CV for a coaching job.

Nope. The spitting thing has ruined the possibility of a role for him at our club IMO and it is unfortunate but certain actions are indefensible and so disgusting that they can't be forgotten or brushed under the carpet. The fact it was a young child rubber stamps it for me.

{Ed025's Note - your right fat boy..

Everyone deserves a second chance. What he did was very much out of order but he apologised profusely and I think he should be allowed to resume his punditry.

Agreed Fatboy mate, somebody I know said 'ah it was heat of the moment, just one of them mistakes' I can't disagree more, you just don't do such a vile act. All I would ever say to those who defend such actions is, if he spat at your child, would you still defend him? I think not.

While I do condone the actions that carragher committed. I believe that it was a heat of the moment situation and he is facing the consequences and rightly so.

No he shouldn't Hesslered, just because he said sorry doesn't make it go away. He's not going to turn around and say ' yeah what's happened has happened, deal with it' is he, of course he was going to apologise, doesn't make it right though. How he didn't get the sack is beyond me, if I did that out on the streets whilst at work (police) then I'd be dealt with accordingly but because of who Carragher is he gets away with it? people have said he hasn't got away with it, he has, it's a holiday for him this suspension.

I've been spat at, I've been punched, kicked the lot but give me a punch or a kick anyday over been spat at, it's disgusting. He doesn't deserve a second chance at all.

😂 @ Leon - I think you mean “condemn” not “condone”

Why does anyone think Carra would make a good number 2? You have to be good at building relationships and team spirit, you have to be a link between the players and the manager. Carra is far too outspoken to be a number 2.

Managers pick their own back room staff, otherwise it doesn’t work. 🤝.

When Carra redeems himself he should go back to punditry and rebuild his career there.

Also, wtf, do we just look for any 'ol name to put into management!?

I always thought he would be a good defensive coach but I wouldn’t employ him after what he did.
