Ed’s I was on the Real Madrid page and there doesn’t seem to be any banter/ crack over there.

What is the general consensus of the Real fan about facing us? Are they fearful? Are they expecting to win etc?

They should be fearful because we'll tear them apart. I doubt they are though, they'll think they are going to beat us, if only they knew ;) .

Somebody tried telling me we was lucky to get here in the CL final lol what a load of tripe that is, we got there because we're quality and deserved it, it has nothing to do with luck. We'll win it because we're the better team and never mind decisions against us, that won't help RM. I can't wait to see the lads lift that trophy next week.

I went for a hike with a RM fan in Vancouver last weekend and obviously we talked footie all day. He believed that Liverpool are, and I quote, “a one man team”. I don’t think that Zidane will believe that but if he does it can only work in our favour.

Stoneage, and Real are not a one man team? CR7 scored ALL 4 goals vs Juve in the Quarters YET we who have the best attacking front line in CL history (including the highest assists man in CL history), are a one man team? I feel a tinge of arrogance, hubris and self entitlement coming from some of the RM fans and their board and trust me, that does not bode well for them cos trust me, they have NEVER faced a team like ours. As Klopp said before the Roma game, "We are a very awkward team to play against". Real are about to find that out come next Sat.

I live in Spain and know many RM fans. They all say pretty much the same thing - they have a bad feeling about the game. Although they all say that they think they should win, they aren’t enjoying the prospect of facing our front 3. They are a smug bunch though - but like Man U fans, and think they will still win.

Niall- 1 of my best mates is a Real Madrid fan watches them 10-15 times a season and is going to Madrid to watch the final. So I can give you his opinion. He thinks it will be a tough game expecting goals as he knows Madrid are vulnerable at the back but they also think that of us. They’re confident because of their recent record and because they can’t afford to lose as it would mean their season has been a disaster as at the start of the year all their fans wanted the league. They want bale to start as he’s been hitting form and they think he can Be a real game changer. They are worried about Salah and firmino but don’t hold many of our other players in high regard.
Hopefully well smash them!

They should be most scared of Mane given recent form. the man is on a mission. I do worry about their forwards scoring goals from those long diagonal balls in behind our fullbacks but think if we can press them like we did Roma in the first leg they won’t know what’s hit them.

I hope we just go for it hell to leather. I'd hate us to go 1 or 2 up and play defensively. I think if we go at it hammer and tong we will win it. I hope they aren't over arwed by the occasion.

i better not see mane shooting when he should be passing. decision making is not his strong point. I think salahs performances has messed with his head a bit. salah knows when to shoot and when to pass, manes finishing is not as good as salahs which means naturally mane should always pass more than salah if there is the option for a better goal scoring chance. The manager should ingrain this into his head. Its all about being efficient as possible if we wanna be the best.

we're only 2 wins in the last 5.so perhaps both our clubs sailing into the final with wet sails is no advantage or disadvantage for either aye!?
anyways, none of that matters. on the day is all that matters. I hope our players don't shring when the lights shine brightest. whatever we want to say about Real Madrid, their guys have been on the stage year in year out. so it will be all on us to respond to it!
