OK, to while away a few more minutes, share the superstitions/ habits you go through in he run up to a massive game?

Me? Watching at the same pub I watched the 2005 final, with the same group of lads. I will also call my mate in Oz at the end of the game, albeit it might cost a little less now! Was going to get a new top to wear, but remembered I didn't wear 'colours' last time. I'll be asking my boy to make sure he sleeps in his Liverpool kit tomorrow night.

Ed001, I know you have a few, so don't be shy!

I have a 1998 Liverpool jersey that I wore for the last champions league final and the FA cup against west ham.

I try not to wear it too often so the luck doesn't rub off but I will be wearing it tomorrow night.

This shirt was also a little bit too small for me when I was wearing it at as a 14 yr old so safe to say that I look ridiculous in it now but we all have to do our bit!

I listened to the game on a car radio in Amsterdam with my dad, was great. I was 13 and we were going mad during the shoot out, must of looked mad to passers by pulled up screaming and shouting that late at night, not really a ritual but it was fun.

:D:D If my boy wears his Liverpool kit to bed tomorrow night and we win, he's going to be cursing me in 20 years time!

I changed my from my local in 2005 and went with a crowd to a busy pub. At half time and 3 nil down i went back to my local depressed but boy did that turn out to be one of the greatest nights ever. Staying in the local this year and hopefully boxing the ceiling in elation come the end of the game again. Come on you reds!

05 I was on military exercise with the air force. No tv. No radio.

Fortunately it was end of exercise and the lovely lads of 216 signals I think had a set up.

Not sure I can personally mobilise the amount of service personnel to recreate that, but if there are any high ranking military or political personnel on here.
You know what to do.

I have no regular superstitions to be honest, except my black third kit! I never wear that because we lose when I do. I wore it for both Go als in Klopp's first season. The Mrs claimed it and it is what she wore when we won the first leg against Roma 5-2. So she is wearing it again. I'll be in my 2016/ 17 home shirt because that is the one I wore on that night.

The 2005 final was the day before my A Level exam! I got the books out at half time and attempted to study from the second half onwards as I thought the game was over. Needless to say I didn't get much studying done!

Maybe I need to get the old text books out tomorrow.

I'll be wearing my wife's red knickers. She's going out clubbing with her friends so she doesn't need any. I hope I get lucky but she doesn't. Well she will when she gets home if we win!

Is that a superstition, Patex, or just a lifestyle choice? ;-)

I often sit on the floor and look at the wallpaper. I try and make patterns that aren't there sometimes you can see monsters.
Once I've got that out the way I sit and watch the match in silence. I do like to do my own commentary in my head.

{Ed033's Note - Also known as tantric freaky fan yoga
