Hi Reds,
Absolutely buzzing about the final tomorrow. We really need to win this one! #6

I remember watching the 05 final as a 14 year old and being in tears at half time, I wanted to turn off the tv and go to bed at that point but I had belief that we could turn it around and it happened.

Tommorow our boys have to believe they are the best and go out there and make sure that they are!

Thanks for all the insight Ed's and fellow Reds, been visiting this site for years. Most reliable sight for LFC info.

Ashish, pity you weren't 16, you could've had a beer with Noshbag ;-)

:D:D.

I just remember shotgunning three cans of lager in attempt to drown my half time sorrows. Then about an hour later being in complete delerium.

I wonder how many reds fans actually switched off in anger and missed the comeback?

I'll never forget it. I was in my local pub (not sure it can be classed as a pub as it's a dive) and at half time the Everton supporting bouncer was in his element. That being said he was no where to been seen at full time or after pens 🤣.

We were pretty gutted, but we are LFC and we don’t give up. We could hear the singing on tv and we kept believing. By the time of the third goal we were in fantasy land, it was ours to lose. Absolute heroes on the pitch! And in the stands. YNWA.

At half time I remember going to the bar to get away from the big screen and order a Sambuca. Low and behold there was TVs behind the bar showing Crespo’s 2nd goal over and over. I ended up having 4 sambucas. I don’t remember much after that apart from rolling around on the floor with other fans in sheer delight! What a night that was!
