Thanks Ed mate, hope you have a great day!

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate you too. Interesting stuff there by Yaya, just wondered if it was just me that thought his comments dripped with bitterness?}

Thanks ed. Could it be that Everton have the England no.1 and we end up with the England no.2? The Sane exclusion was really surprising.

{Ed001's Note - I agree on Sane, surely you make a space for a player like that, even if it means bumping someone else out.}

I think Pep is a reasonably good coach with a rubbish personality. Yaya may be bitter, but he isn't the first to clash with Pep.

Sane should be in the German's first team. He is better than most of the squad they have picked. If Draxler is better than Sane we should sign him asap.

Definitely bitter, I'm surprised he came out with such comments to be honest, he's made himself look a bit daft in my opinion. I don't like pep one bit, but I highly doubt he has a problem with Africans? I mean that's just something Toure is pulling out of a hat in my opinion, I can't stand it when people use the race card. It's all good and well making these comments, at least back them up with something solid.

'He was cruel to me' Oh deary me, somebody give the lad a cuddle.

{Ed001's Note - Yaya was lazy on the pitch and that is why Pep didn't play him. Is that really so difficult for him to understand?}

Not buying Toure's slander. Why on earth does Pep play Walker, Kompany, Mendy, Delph, Fenandinho, Sane, Jesus and Sterling if he hates black people?

Yaya needs to accept he wasn't good enough. If Pep hates Africans then somebody should let him know where Algeria is before he signs Mahrez.

Would any reds or Ed’s want to be accused of racism in the international press? Me neither!

Maybe City don’t want the press coverage that would come with this but Toure has openly accused Pep of dislike and bias to him and others based on colour and race in his quotes and Pep could easily take him to court for slander and would likely win unless Toure has damning evidence.

In which case why did he not bring this evidence forward until now. So Ed I agree, this stings of bitterness however you don’t call someone racist to prove that point.

He’s lucky if Pep doesn’t follow up on this
To protect his name and reputation.

There are a few who always think the world is unfair to them. Yaya is one of them! I hear Emre Can has been spouting nonsense about how Liverpool treated him bad. What was he doing all year when we were behind him to sign an extension!

Ed's, I would seem that those fines that have been handed out are akin to be lashed with a feather. Those fines in my opinion, are all missing at least a couple of extra zero's.

{Ed001's Note - they are a pointless punishment and seem lax. Mind, they are still a lot harsher than the punishments for racial abuse by fans. It just seems UEFA is toothless.}

‘I have the impression that he was jealous, he took me for a rival. As if I made him a little shade’

Sounds like he’s referring to himself here.

I would truly wait to see if Yaya actually said this or was it lost in translation etc
I do know he would be bitter as this is now twice Pep has cut him from a big team that he has managed
One thing is though I can't really respect these types of comments no matter where they come from as no can ever speak for a whole nation when talking about himself.

{Ed001's Note - it was an interview in France Football.}

I hope there is no substance to Yaya's comment and the timing or it does reek of bitterness. I suspect Yaya made the comment hoping other African players would support the sentiment but the absence of any other voice thus far is telling.
As for Sane not being in the German team, I am baffled, but maybe Joachim Low understands that the best individuals do not always make the best team. He reckons he's been edged by Brandt because of defensive dilligence. who knows, but it'll mean that Sane is going to have a stonking year coming up and that is worrying to me as an LFC fan. and Germany will be their usual difficult (probable) finalists which is a problem for me as an England fan.

I do feel it's bitterness from Yaya, used to love him as a player but he hasn't been the same player for years now, he was quite happy taking home his reported £1,000,000.00 a month at City whilst Pep is in charge, if he felt Pep was in anyway being prejudice against him why didn't he submit a transfer request in? City would be happy to get him off the wage bill. problem is Yaya knows he's not a £250,000.00 a week player anymore and apart from perhaps a team in the Chinese league nobody would offer him that kind of money, this suggests he's way past his best and does not warrant a starting place.

Yaya is an idiot probably still smarting at citeh for the cake saga. As a black person in kinda embarrassed he would play the race card. Given the amount in the city starting line up who may not be African but are black. Unless he is implying that African and black are now different races (amazing how millions can dumb a man down) . As for Sane I'll assume he has pissed someone off because he is one of Germany's best talents. It's a shock he's not their. And UEFA are a bigger joke than fifa.

It's funny that Toure has had problems with every manager he's ever had isn't it? I can think of one common denominator.

Yes its true yaya had problems with other managers before but so did pep had problems with samuel etoo, zlatan, sanchez, yaya, aguero, ronaldinho
I think the problem guardiola has is not because of race but of these great players who don't want or can't conform because with pep is either his way or no way.
