Nice piece Ed001.
Being Irish, I had great hope for Richie when he went to Liverpool. He was very unlucky but through foresight, hard work and a little luck Richie found himself back at Anfield.

{Ed001's Note - I remember watching him a lot at Coventry and thinking we have a genuine player on our hands there. Shame it never worked out for him.}

Another great read Ed, as always mate. I had no idea about the majority of that, when he left Liverpool I never really looked into him. Cheers mate.

{Ed001's Note - I knew he was back at the club as a physio like, but didn't know what he did between his season with Cov and returning to the club.}

Brilliant stuff Ed. I've met him a few times and he comes across as a great fella. Loved your one on Cherno as well. Takes me back! Can we expect one on Kenedy Bakiricoglu? (unsure of spelling) . Really appreciate all the work that you all do on this site, the best on t'internet.

{Ed001's Note - he is very well liked is Richie, lots of people say good things about him. Defo can expect one on him. I went through a bunch of Champ Man and FM forums to put together a very extensive lists of players who were superstars in the game.}

What an inspiring story for someone who has been blighted by injuries. A real credit that he has been promoted within LFC and his hard work is paying off.

Crooky.

{Ed001's Note - it is good to see there is another path when the first one ends.}

Interesting read Ed001, I remembered when he came on the scene and thinking what a player he could of been if it wasn’t for the injuries.

{Ed001's Note - he did look top class when he was at Cov.}

{Ed002's Note - I remember Tonton Macoute who did a great version of Dr John’s “I Walk on Guilded Splinters”.}

Good read Ed001.
Do you have any connections to Coventry? Not the football club as in the City?

{Ed001's Note - none at all mate, why?}

Morning Ed001.
I know you watch lots of football. it was just when you mentioned watching Richie a lot at Coventry, wasn’t sure if you actually went to Highfield Road. Didn’t think there was so much streaming back in the early 2,000’s, so thought maybe you were there.

I know Coventry really well ( Dad doesn’t live to far from there ) and I’ve alweys watched LFC when they went to Coventry.

Not the best of area’s around Highfield Road! Lol.

{Ed001's Note - ah back then I had access to a scouting network's feeds. My friend had a license for a number of people to use the scouting site and he let me use it. I watched them a fair bit to see how Gary Mc was getting on initially, but then kept watching because of Partridge, who impressed me greatly.}

Oh ok, that’s pretty cool Ed001! .
I used to like Coventry away to be fair. Last time I watched us there we lost 4-1!

{Ed001's Note - that is why I never liked Cov, they were our bogey side!}

Haha, they very much were Ed001!
Have a good day mate.

{Ed001's Note - plus that imbecilic gorilla-man thing Richard Keys supports them. That is two incredibly good reasons to be glad they are not in the Prem!}

Oh yes, I had forgotten about him!

{Ed001's Note - I wish I could, he is the presenter for the Prem coverage here. Utter ****.}

Is Dr Johns version of Guilded Splinters your favourite version ED2? I love Paul Wellers version.

{Ed002's Note - Some of my wives like Paul Weller but I must admit I have not heard it.}
