The times I saw Pickford I wasn’t impressed. He’s too short to effectively deal with crosses and didn’t look anything special. He made a few shocking errors too. Like the game against Everton when he lost a ball in flight that was almost straight at him. There is a dearth of quality in English goalkeepers, there has not been a good quality one since seaman retired, which is an unequivocal fact.

Karius for me. Not seen anything to suggest the Lazio lad is any better than Karius. Unless we are going to replace Loris with genuine top class what’s the point of paying big money someone of similar ability and potential?

Meant to say the game he played against West Ham. Was a nothing shot from Arnautovic and he literally lost it in flight and it was almost right at him.
