I'm sorry but I'm getting tired of the " back out players " Karius had a awful game, pre season or not, no pressure one bit, those are saves you make, pre season should be getting your confidence back, he is awful . Can only give so much support before you grow tired of it, if your a football fan you want your team to do well, with Karius in goal we're doomed, he will end up letting the whole team down and we all know it, time to give Ward a chance, he's not had that chance to prove his worth yet, or simply buy a keeper, we literally have the worst goalkeeper in the league and that's not a over reaction that's facts,

{Ed002's Note - So demand the club sack the person responsible and get a coach in who knows what he is doing.}

Yeh nobody is biting ed. karius needs to be replaced, just like Bravo was when he wasn't good enough for city. Players are transitional.

{Ed002's Note - Get rid of Klopp he is the root cause of your problems - many supporters will continue to do everything the can to destroy everyone and everything.}

ED002
I have saying for a while now we need a new goalkeeping coach but for some reason Klopp likes John, so he must be doing something right but
I just can't work out what it is.

{Ed002's Note - It is not the fault of the GK coach - it is the fault of Klopp.}

Was karious that bad the back end of the season. taking CL final out I thought he had really improved.

I think for me Ed’s, that is the worry. Klopp is putting his head on the line I think if he does go into the league with the same keeper and Klopp leaving would be a disastrous move for the club, of that I’m certain.

{Ed002's Note - Why, get someone in who replaces the GK and achieves something by winning.}

I agree, if klopp thinks that Karius is good enough to be Liverpool’s number 1, then no wonder buvac left, maybe klopp has a concussion or he needs to stop being so stubborn because it’s a signing he made, time to be ruthless, klopp is a great manager but sometimes his decision making is poor.

You’re a tinker eds. We need some stability and time for someone to build a squad, and ok yes he hasn’t won a trophy yet but he’s certainly moving in the right direction; top 4 again and a champs league final to add to a league cup and Europa final. The press, the tv pundits and yes, some of the fans, will be all over Karius if he makes mistakes and that will quickly turn to people questioning Klopp. Now that Wenger has gone there’ll be another high profile in their cross hairs.

{Ed002's Note - You still seem to be the only fans that celebrate coming second.}

If Klopp was that ruthless he'd do better getting rid of some of the fairweather armchair expert "supporters" who never kicked a ball in their lives.
"You'll never slag your players or manager alone".

How is it Klopps fault ed002. Not arguing with you just would like your opinion on the situation. Karius isn't good enough. Klopp bought him now klopp must sell him. we need a new keeper or give Ward a try because its evident neither Karius now Simon Mignolet are good enough.

Klopp has this loyalty thing going on, which sometimes is counter productive. He has to take the rose tinted glasses off and act. Obviously Karius is broken, so something has to be done. To me you pay whatever it takes, you build from the back and to suggest that paying 60-70 million in the current market is crazy, yet its ok to pay 99 million for a 33 year old looking for his final payday (i know he will give 100% mind you) just does not add up.75 million for VVd seemed to stir people up but boy what a difference he has made, perhaps Oblak will have a similar impact if Klopp was prepared to shell out and buy him. Klopp appears to be a guy you either love or hate and i think that ED02 has more knowledge and experience of this man than us so i think we should perhaps acknowledge that. If he was dishing out on any other manager then we would probably be loving it. don't get me wrong, i think Klopp is getting plenty right, but not this.

Can't fathom why we blast the players and coaches for not beating other phenomenal players and coaches. I will cry tears of joy when we finally get that trophy no matter who wears the shirt or who is on the sidelines. Whatever is best for the club is all that matters. No need to bash players, Klopp and Karius both have a lot of pressure going into the new season, but no more so than big money signings and our returning player of the year. It never gets easier. That said, FSG have built something sustainably good, a worthy challenger to teams with more money and fans. A club on the way back to prominence.

Come on ed025. We were gutted when we lost the final, but now in reflection, we know we done well to get to the final and are rightly proud of it. You would too if it were Everton. Its still gutting but it WAS an achievement.

Klopp isn't the problem. No way. He is brilliant, he is taking us in the right direction, at a time when there are a lot of very good teams about.

I disagree heavily with the poster that said "we have the worst keeper in the league" that's rubbish. Most are average. De gea, courtios and loris are top but I wouldn't fancy any of the others except maybe pickford or butland.

But sadly I think we need a keeper. Macca has been bang on in the 14 months I've been coming here, so I think it will be butland.

{Ed025's Note - i think that post should have been directed to ED002 PH, im an unashamed klopp lover and think hes special mate..

Oh, sorry ed025! The "worst gk" wasn't aimed at you either. It was another poster.

{Ed025's Note - no worries mate..
