I love this Rebic lad.
He'll be good for us.
Any one with knowledge on his style of play, STRENGHTS and weaknesses prior to the world cup should please enlighten us.

Good pace, good skills, not the best finishing and has problems keeping his cool. He gets carded for stupid challenges too much.

He was one the most exciting players last year in the Bundesliga for me and was a crucial part of Frankfurts success (Won the dfb cup against bayern and scored a goal as well) .

He would be a decent addition as a back up for 20-25mil (which is reportedly his asking price) .

Rakitic was tired last night. I always look at their faces in the line up, close up (national anthems) in big big games. You can see some of them couldn't sleep. Rakitic had massive bags under his eyes and his nerves looked frayed. He was pretty poor in the game.

Modric looked fresh as a daisy. Lovren did too. Hendo looked tired and trippier. Their keeper looked knackered.

PH, their player played with a bad hamstring and the fact that England NEVER tested him with crosses from wide to test that hamstring, tells you how useless tactically England were.

As for Rebic, he reminds me of a more skillful Dirk Kuyt. He is a dribbler, pacy, can score goals BUT has a hot head which is normal cos he is a fighter, will run all day and gets stuck in, just like our Dirk. Would not mind him at all.

Totally agree brover. If we could get a dirk kuyt type player I would be over the moon. Firmino reminds me of kuyt sometimes. He's more skillful but he too is a battler, and the way he chases lost causes and gets stuck in. God bless dirk kuyt.

Yeah, England looked lost after Croatia scored their first.

{Ed025's Note - he was very dirty Tj, a stronger ref would have dealt with him and he could not try to kick anything that moved then...but thats what players with limited ability do i suppose..
