I personally think it was out of Fekir or Allison for us (in terms of a big transfer) and we just went with Allison after it was made clear we’d be favourites and the player wanted to join us after Madrid had pulled out. Maybe something swayed us off the Fekir deal completely or we just identified GK as more of a weakness than the number 10 position especially with the inclusion of Shaqiri, which it is, as we saw last season. I think if we were to sanction another deal that’s £60m+ someone of worth has to be leaving. Regardless, if things stay as they are, Salah mane and firmino staying and Allison arriving I think we can put aside the while ‘owners don’t care about this club’ debate behind. They have fully backed us and Klopp and they’d be little excuses for next season, we have a team capable or winning things. Only thing I’m worried about is the whole Buvac situation.

What Buvac situation? He has left and has been replaced by Pep Lijnders.

The situation that he’s been klopps right hand man for the majority of his managerial career and has had huge success with him and pep lijnders is a rather untried and untested coach that did fair too well in his first managerial venture. I think there’s still a Buvac replacement required and one that is as good or better otherwise I fear there’s a hole there that can be very detrimental next season.
