Damn, my heart goes out to Ox.

To think one inocuous challenge could result in multiple ligament damage.

Not only that but he decided to keep it a secret from the rest of the fanbase, possibly even members of the staff and squad, so that the positive enthusiasm around the club would not be diminshed. The lad dserves all the best in his recovery and I can only hope that this injury does not rob Ox of realising his incredible potential.

I must admit, when we first showed signs of wanting Ox, I was completely against it. Firmly against it even. I thought he was limited, technically and physically. I thought he would not show the right attitude, application or determination to improve. I thought he would be our worst buy of the season, someone to get rid of as soon as possible.

Well, Ox put me firmly in my place and made me realise how stupid and short sighted I was. Ox managed to breath life into a midfield that lacked goals and creativity, and at a time that we most needed it.

I can only hope he comes back stronger and hungrier as ever, and continues to prove the doubters wrong. Best of luck Ox, you have made a believer out of me.

With you there, LFC MANGO. Gutted for the lad. The best thing we can do now is to support him through his recovery and be ready to welcome him with open arms as a fan base and as a club cos like it or not, we missed him in Kiev and all the games we played after his injuries. Stay strong, Oxie.

It'll be like a new signing when he's back on the team sheet. Hopefully we deal with his recovery properly and it doesn't become a reason for him to retire early. Stay strong Oxo. As for Alisson. I'll wait until it's fully confirmed before I wet my pants prematurely lol.

Acl, other ligament and hamstring all went on the boy. Absolutely devastated his knee it what seemed like a real normal challenge. No twist or anything.

He will come back fine. He's got the heart and the support and the fire after missing put on cl final but also having the season of his life.

Brewster has credited him with helping him out and has signed a new contract.
