I know it's hard to say Ed001, but in your opinion, after Alisson is (fingers crossed) ours today, do you still see us going in for Fekir? And maybe Vida? Cheers mate!

{Ed001's Note - Klopp really wants Fekir, we know he is stubborn and will wait for the man he wants, so I still think we will return for him. Might be the club holds off until January to see how things stand, but it is the way Klopp works. Fekir wants the Liverpool move too, which helps.}

ED001

Would I be right in saying that waiting until January would hsve nothing to do with FFP as this summers window and the January 2019 window would come under the same assessment period for the accounts, so to speak?

So just curious as to why we would wait until then? Is it a case of being up against time now before the transfer window shuts early and trying to strike a deal with Lyon consisting of structured payments rather the fee in its entirety?

Regards.

{Ed001's Note - I was thinking it might be a case of waiting until then to make sure we can offload a few to bring the wage bill down first.}

Whatever happens no one can complain this window!

Thanks for the reply ed, I really hope we can get him, as I think he will be the replacement for Coutinho that we never got. Do you know anything on Vida? Or is it all speculation? Hope you're having a great day mate.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know mate sorry.}

We desparately need to get on with some outgoing transfers at the moment, our squad is getting ridiculous.

I like Fekir a lot though I don't think he is at the level of Coutinho but I have to say that having knee reconstruction before the age of 25 worries me greatly.

Agree about offloading a few players before signing Fekir. The wage bill must be off the charts right now, so as long as Lallana can prove his fitness we can do without Fekir for now. But if Fekir comes in, people like Origi, Ings, Markovic, Migs, Karius, Kent, possibly Sturridge all need to find a new home to reduce wage bill and not fall foul of FFP.

Is it a case of the club hoping Fekir’s desire to push the move through will make Lyon accept the deal already on the table?

{Ed001's Note - no.}

Morning Ed001
Hope all is good Bud.
Just on a reply from previous, youbsaid Klopp is stubborn and will wait (VVD being prime example) . As reported during the season Salah was 4th choice ( l think) . We was lucky that he wasn’t stubborn and wait for his first choice then.
Not that it matters, do you know who the 1st choice was?

{Ed001's Note - yes it has been said many many times on here it was Brandt, who didn't want to join us, hence why Klopp moved on.}

My read on Klopp (please correct me if I’m wrong, Ed001 as it’s just based on assumptions and logic) is that Klopp is extremely stubborn when it comes to player recruiting AS LONG AS the player wants us too.

VVD did, so he waited.

Brandt didn’t so he moved on.

Fekir does, so I reckon he will get him now or wait.

There’s always a deal to be done with the intermediaries if both parties want a move to happen, it’s just about negotiating 😀.

{Ed001's Note - yes mate. Lemar would have come but wasn't overly fussed about joining us, so it is another he moved on from. The player has to want to join the club for Klopp to push for the move.}

Thanks Ed001.

Adds to my Klopp-love, I only want players at Liverpool who really, really want to play for us. Better camaraderie, better team work, better results!

And less turnover of playing staff hopefully.

{Ed001's Note - fingers crossed.}
